Improving Relationships and Performance Through Understanding
As a riding and horsemanship trainer, I help horses and people better understand one another—so they can build stronger relationships and improve their performance as true partners.

This work goes beyond technique. It’s about learning how your horse thinks, how you show up, and how the two of you influence each other in every moment.

Who this is for
You might be my ideal client if you:
Want to deeply understand your horse—the way they think, react, and why they make the choices they do
Are curious about your own patterns, and how they affect your horse
Have goals and vision, but care just as much about the process of getting there
Value your horse’s individuality as much as their athletic ability
Want a partner who can both perform and express themselves honestly
Feel a disconnect with traditional approaches to performance training
Notice that your horse feels dysregulated—and recognize that you might be, too
Are searching for a different way forward, even if you’re not sure what that looks like yet
My approach blends horsemanship, psychology, and practical experience into something both thoughtful and effective

How I support
You and Your Horse
My approach integrates psychology and nervous-system informed training for both horse and rider, supported by a deep personal commitment to self-awareness and growth—I practice what I teach. With a diverse background across disciplines, I adapt to each horse and rider rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all method, using a clear and flexible approach that draws from the best of many practices. I prioritize patient observation and thoughtful problem-solving, taking the time to understand before acting, and I remain open to course-correcting, collaborating, and continuing to learn for the benefit of every partnership. Throughout it all, I value honest, clear communication so you always understand the “why” behind the work.
Better understanding creates better outcomes.
When we shift how we see our horses—and ourselves—we open the door to both improved performance and a more honest, connected partnership.
